This Privacy Policy applies to the website www.noelforsheriff.com (the “Site”), owned and operated by the Mark Noel Campaign, a candidate committee for Mark Noel, candidate for Sheriff of Park County, Colorado.
No Cookies, No Trackers, No Analytics
You can read this Site without being tracked.
- No cookies. The Site does not set or read cookies of any kind.
- No analytics. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics or visitor-counting service.
- No trackers or ad pixels. No Facebook, Google, or other advertising or tracking code, and no retargeting based on your visit.
- No third-party content. Every page, image, font, and script is served from our own domain. Your browser does not contact any other company while you read the Site.
- No browser storage. The Site does not use local storage or other techniques to recognize you on a later visit.
Hosting
The Site is a set of static pages delivered by Amazon Web Services (AWS CloudFront). Like any web host, AWS necessarily receives basic technical information in order to deliver a page to your browser, such as your IP address, the page requested, and your browser type. It may also process that information to protect the Site against attacks. We do not use this information to identify, profile, or follow visitors, and we do not combine it with any other data.
Information You Choose to Share
The Site has no forms of its own. If you email us, sign up to volunteer, or request a yard sign, we use what you send (such as your name, email address, phone number, or street address) only to respond to you and to keep you informed about the campaign. Every campaign email will let you opt out of further messages. We will never sell your information or share it for commercial marketing.
We may share it only:
- With service providers that help us run the campaign, only to provide those services, and on the strict condition that they may not contact you themselves;
- To comply with the law (for example, a lawful subpoena), to protect our rights, or to protect our supporters from fraud or abuse, or in an emergency involving danger of death or serious injury; or
- With other groups, only with your consent.
Contributions
Online contributions are made on ActBlue's website, not on this Site. ActBlue's own privacy policy applies there. Card and banking information is never stored on any of our systems.
Colorado law requires us to make a best effort to report identifiable contributor information to the Colorado Secretary of State, including name, mailing address, occupation, and employer, along with the amount and date of each contribution. This information becomes public record. We may contact contributors to get information needed for these reports.
Links to Other Sites
The Site links to other websites, such as ActBlue, social media, and government election offices. Those sites are not covered by this policy, and they may use cookies and tracking. Please review their privacy policies before sharing personal information with them.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change how the Site handles your privacy, we will update this page first.
